People ask: Dried vegetables?  What can I do with dried vegetables?

Well, what about using the dried shredded onions as a sprinkle on your yogurt? or fried very very quickly in a little oil and used in cooking?

Or soaking the dried eggplant and tomatoes and peppers in hot water for 10 minutes? Then you drain the water, pack the veggies in a clean glass jar, add a few cloves of garlic, a little vinegar and olive oil to cover. Cap and store for a few days, then add this to any meat or chicken dish as a condiment??

The Slice May Issue

What's New This Month

We are celebrating our one year anniversary! Your support has been invaluable to us and thanks to you, we're a cut above the rest! Please join us in celebrating our first birthday at the Maadi Farmer's Market on May 18th at 43 Rd 85, Maadi from 4-7pm.

Did you notice that our newsletter now has a name? We call it the The Slice. You can read it on our new blog or continue to receive it by email. We'll also be posting links to our blog on our facebook page.

Our blog, Cut and Dried, will not only include The Slice, but posts on all things healthy, yummy, and interesting as well as tidbits that we come across that we think you may enjoy. We hope you engage, comment and subscribe to Cut and Dried.

We will also be rolling out our new product labels. Our bags are the same, re-sealable recyclable plastic bags so that you can keep the product sealed. We make sure to let everyone know that our products are 100% natural, no additives nor preservatives. Help us to continue to improve by giving us your feedback on these label/package designs. Send in comments through the blog, on facebook or by email. Here's the picture of what you'll be getting with your next order: Green labels for vegetables and yellow labels for fruits.

Finally, we've decided to streamline our packaging. From now on we will only sell 75 g and 150 g bags. Same great taste, two different sizes.
